School Ministry Program

There's something that happens when a group of volunteers walks through a school gate in rural Kenya — kids come running. Not because of what we're bringing, but because they know we're coming for them.

MHI volunteers visit primary and comprehensive schools across Kenya with games, music, trivia, shared meals, and genuine relationship. We laugh together, learn together, and leave having been changed by the experience just as much as the students. These visits are joyful by design — because joy is disarming, and disarming is where real connection begins.

Beyond the visits, we invest in something longer-lasting. Through mentorship and Scripture-based discipleship, we walk alongside students — helping boys and girls develop identity, character, and a vision for their futures rooted in faith. We believe every child in every classroom deserves someone who shows up consistently, knows their name, and tells them the truth about who they are.

For girls in our partnering schools, we also provide monthly hygiene and dignity kits — removing a quiet but real barrier that keeps many girls from attending class with confidence. It's a small, practical act that carries significant weight.

We are honored to serve students at Flamingo Primary School, Flamingo Comprehensive School, Mahindu Comprehensive School, and Kabati Primary School — and we're always looking toward where Yahweh might open the next door.
